How do I get to the villa?
Situated about 4-5 hours from India’s Silicon Valley, Bengaluru, and 3-4 hours from the historic port town of Mangaluru, this villa is situated at over 1500 meters above sea level on the rim of the Chandradrona hill range of the Western Ghats. Follow this route if you are coming by road: 

Chikmagalur → Kaimara Junction → Kavikal Gandi check post → Attigundi → Baba Budangiri Junction → Sampige Katte (Royal Palace). A cemented pavement ascending on the right will lead you to our villa.

Bengaluru – 5 to 5.5 hours
Mangalore – 3.5 to 4 hours
Shimoga – 2.5 hours
Can we book individual rooms?
Yes, you can book individual rooms if they are available. We would recommend that you book all the rooms on the first floor or the two rooms on the ground floor so you have privacy and proximity to your group.
Can we book the entire villa?

Yes, in fact, we recommend it. To ensure the best experience, we suggest our guests book the entire villa for their group to have unlimited and exclusive access to all amenities and make it a completely private vacation home.

Are the charges inclusive of all amenities, food, and experiences?

Yes, unless you are the Bear Grylls kind who can survive off the land, all our packages include all meals, high-tea, and soft beverages. And some signature experiences like hikes, nature walks, cycling, outdoor dining and wellbeing experiences of minimum 3-night bookings.
Is the villa suitable for families with very small children?

While we have taken care of safety, our secluded mountain villa and itineraries are designed to host guests who are at least 12 years of age and older. Younger children will require constant supervision, and we leave it to the parents to make an informed decision based on individual choice.
What are the check-in and check-out time?

We do not have a standard check-in or check-out time if the villa or rooms are not booked. Our villa is situated on the edge of reserve forests, with restricted movement between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am by the forest department. To ensure a seamless arrival, we request that our guests check in before 5:00 pm.
How can I make a reservation at the villa?

Reservations can be made directly through our website or by contacting our reservation team via email or phone. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons, to ensure availability.

Is the villa pet-friendly?

As the villa is located in a forested area frequented by wild animals, which could alert or unsettle pets and endanger their safety, we do not allow pets.  

Is a jungle safari included in the itinerary?

No, a jungle safari is not included in the itinerary as it is dependent on a ticketed entry dependent on the Forest Department. We can arrange for a safari if you are interested. Do let us know in advance for us to plan for the same and avoid any last-minute disappointments. Weekdays are better to avoid crowds and soak in the undisturbed beauty apart from the sightings.
Is there a Wi-Fi and internet facility in the villa?

We offer Wi-Fi dongles at the villa, which can be plugged in to use limited connectivity. Due to the nature of our location, data speed may vary. We suggest you switch off your devices and be completely immersed in this vacation. JIO and Airtel work best at the location for voice calling and data.
Do you provide transportation to the villa?

Yes, our reservation team can help you with booking transfers from the airports. Our property team is available to assist you throughout your journey. Feel free to contact us for guidance to ensure your safe and comfortable arrival.
Booking Policy

An advance payment is necessary for the booking to be confirmed, and a confirmation of the transaction must be emailed to bookings@re-experiences.earth

  • 100% payment needs to be completed at least 15 days before check-in.
  • Failure to make the required payment by the specified date will result in the automatic cancellation of the booking.
Cancellation Policy
  • 30 days or more before arrival: 90% refund
  • 16-29 days before arrival: 45% refund
  • 15 days or less before the arrival: 100% retention

  • 45 days or more before arrival: 90% refund
  • 31-44 days before arrival: 45% refund
  • 30 days or less before arrival: 100% retention
Payment Policy
  • 50% payment is required to confirm your reservation, and 100% payment has to be made at least 15 days before check-in.
  • Other inclusions that are not listed as part of your villa booking will be charged extra.
  • Any additional bills are to be settled before check-out by cash, credit or debit card, or online transfer.
